Devizes RFC

Devizes host Southern Counties South league leaders Sherborne in the Dorset & Wilts 1st XV Cup Semi Final.  Both teams will be going at it for a spot in the final for a chance to win some silverware.

After last weekend's eventual win over Swanage & Wareham, Devizes got back to winning ways after the away defeat at Sherborne the weekend before.  Devizes had a number of players out for the 39-10 defeat, and will be hoping to field close to a full strength side at the weekend.  Sherborne come into this match with a thumping win against Frome at Gypsy Lane to extend their perfect start to the season with 8 wins out of 8.

In the other semi final, North Dorset face Corsham for a spot in the final.  Kick off is set for 2pm at the Chivers Ground - please come along to support!

Our Vets team will also be putting a side out against Salisbury on Saturday.  This is an earlier kick off (12.30pm) so that the squad can get back to Devizes RFC for the England v Australia match, which kicks off at 3pm.  If anyone is interested in a runout and is over the age of 35, please get in touch!

The Autumn Internationals will be shown, with the England v Australia game on from 3pm.  Scotland v New Zealand is at a later time of 5.15pm and will no doubt be shown on the big screen and in the members bar, so come along to your local rugby club to watch all the action!
